Have you ever felt like you were stuck in a waiting season? Like God was keeping you hidden while everything else around you seemed to be moving forward? It’s frustrating, right? But what if that hiddenness wasn’t a setback—but preparation?
As a church, KAC has been walking through a season just like that. But now, God is making it clear: the time of unveiling is here.
Why Does God Hide Things?
Back in 2009, God gave us a prophetic word: “A Season of Unveiling is at hand.” But before something can be unveiled, it has to be hidden first.
Think about Elijah in 1 Kings. God tells him, “Hide yourself.” (1 Kings 17:3). Three years later, He says, “Show yourself.” (1 Kings 18:1). That in-between time—the hidden season—wasn’t about punishment. It was about preparation.
Sometimes, we feel overlooked or stuck because we don’t see what God is doing. But God hides things for a reason:
To Protect Us – Some things aren’t revealed until we’re ready to handle them.
To Prepare Us – God builds character in the quiet seasons.
To Position Us – When the unveiling comes, we need to be ready to step fully into His plan.
Elijah’s hidden season lasted three years. Three years of trusting, waiting, and learning to depend on God alone. Sound familiar?
There’s so much more to uncover about why God hides things—how He uses these seasons to refine, stretch, and strengthen us. In the coming posts, we’ll dive deeper into these hidden seasons and what they mean for us personally and as a church.
What This Means for Us

Elijah wasn’t just sitting around waiting. In the hidden season, he was learning how to listen to God, how to trust Him, and how to walk in obedience—lessons that would prepare him for what was coming next.
KAC has been in its own hidden season. But God is speaking: It’s time to be unveiled.
So, what does that look like for us? It means stepping out with confidence, trusting that everything we’ve been through was never wasted. It means knowing that our foundation is strong, our faith is ready, and God’s timing is always perfect.
If you’ve felt stuck, unseen, or like you’ve been waiting for something to happen—take heart. God hasn’t forgotten you. He’s been preparing you. And now, He’s calling us to step into a new season, together.
The unveiling is here. Are we ready?
