I never thought I’d be in this situation. One moment, everything seemed fine, and the next, I was drowning in debt. No matter how hard I tried to get ahead, the numbers just didn’t add up. The stress was unbearable—creditors were calling me constantly, demanding payment, and I had nothing to give them. The worst part? My car was repossessed. It felt like everything was slipping away.

Every day, my wife and I carried the weight of this burden. We prayed, we worried, and we wondered how we were going to make it through. But through it all, we made one decision—we would keep giving our tithes. It didn’t make sense financially, but we held on to the belief that God would provide. Even when it felt like we had nothing, we gave. Month after month, we tithed, trusting that somehow, in some way, He would bring us through.

And then, something incredible happened.

The person who had repossessed my car lost possession of it herself. The Land Transport Authority took it back from her, and when I found out, I could hardly believe what I was hearing. To get my car back, all I had to do was pay a small road tax fee—that’s it. A vehicle I thought was gone forever was suddenly back in my hands, and I knew, without a doubt, that this was God’s hand at work.

Looking back, I see now that God had never abandoned us. Even in our hardest season, He was making a way. We could have held on to every cent, trying to solve things in our own strength, but instead, we chose to put our trust in Him—and He proved faithful, just as He always does.

To anyone struggling right now, wondering if God sees your pain, let me tell you this: He does. Keep trusting, keep giving, and keep believing. He will make a way for you, just like He did for me.
